The problem:
The business had grown, the positioning had sharpened, but the website hadn't kept up. An outdated Squarespace site was doing more harm than good and there was no time or appetite to be heavily involved in fixing it. They needed someone to take the brief and run.
Approach:
I started with a working prototype — a structured mock-up they could react to before anything was built. Once signed off, I migrated everything from the existing site, rewrote all the copy, sourced new imagery, and rebuilt the entire structure around where the business actually was today. The client made a handful of decisions at key moments and left the rest to me.
The result:
A complete brand and website delivered in 3 weeks. The finished site included a process visualisation showing exactly how they work with clients, a ticker of key stats, a professional headshot, an FAQ section, and a limited availability indicator to support their positioning. SEO was set up from day one. At handover, I spent time with the founder so he could manage and update the site himself — eliminating the ongoing cost of a maintenance retainer, third-party hosting fees, and any dependency on external support. No ongoing dependency, no retainer required. Just a finished result built to last.
